Training 3 & 4
Exegesis & Seeding

If our gospel is cross-centered, if we have identified the places where God is suffering with us, if we are empowered to go join into the suffering of others bringing the healing love of agape and hope of resurrection, then we now enter into what it could look like to begin to survey God’s cruciform work in our own context and neighborhoods.
Together in Training 3 and 4 we are going to learn about what it looks like to see our context apostolically and prophetically as the cruciform Christ sees it. We’ll dialogue about how we can begin to survey God’s cruciform work in our own context and neighborhoods, and through that how we can begin to relationally plant seeds of the gospel in the lives of people we’re befriending.
Training 1
Gospel & Personal

The foundation of the good news is Jesus crucified. The word that describes this idea is Cruciformity: we have a cross shaped gospel. Cruciformity must be the foundation of everything we say or do, and even how we come into a place. Cross-shaped lives must be what the church is built upon. In T1 we are going to engage with materials and dialogue together about what this means theologically and practically. We’ll discuss what it looks like to lay this cross-shaped foundation in our lives, so that later, God might lay a cross-shaped foundation to our church.
